Awareness, Prevention Presentation Free to
Community

May 16, 2006 Lathrup Village, MI, The Arab American and Chaldean Council
(ACC) and William
Beaumont Hospital will host its second health
symposium on Wednesday, June 28th from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at St.
George Orthodox Church in Troy. The mission of ACC and
Beaumont is to educate the public on the importance of early cancer
detection by practicing early detection methods such as scheduling
annual screenings.
The
free education presentation is open to the public. Community leaders
from the health, educational, and religious sector strongly
encourage community participation. Beaumont’s Cancer Institute &
ACC invite all concerned community members to attend this very
important symposium to help individuals identify early warning signs
which if diagnosed early is treatable and can save lives.
Participants are encouraged to visit the Beaumont
departmental tables for further
information.
The
evening will be emceed by William Salaita, ACC Director and “Maal
Jalia" Arabic Radio Talk Show Host. Registration is required by
