ACC REACHES OUT TO THOSE IN NEED
Detroit,
MI - December 11, 2006 The Arab American and Chaldean
Council’s (ACC) Seven Mile Taskforce and Steering
Committee will be providing free bags of groceries, household items,
and clothing to over 1000 needy families at their Customer Appreciation
Day & Holiday Celebration on Saturday, December 16, 2006 from
12:00pm to 6:00pm at ACC’s
Youth Recreation & Leadership Center, 62 W. Seven Mile Road, Detroit,
48203.
The
holiday themed appreciation day will offer community members and area
business owners an opportunity to come together and celebrate not only the
holidays but all that has been accomplished in this impoverished
neighborhood in Detroit.
The event will also include entertainment, games, food, refreshments,
discounted holiday shopping at area businesses, a rock climbing wall
provided by the Michigan National Guard, and pictures in Santa’s Workshop.
